2017–18 Burnley
Burnley Football Club is a professional association football club based in Burnley, Lancashire. The team will play in the Premier League, the highest level of English football in the 2016–17 season after winning the league title in the 2015–16 season in the Football League Championship. Nicknamed The Clarets, due to the dominant colour of their home shirts, they were one of the founder members of the Football League in 1888.
The 2017–18 season will be Burnley's 136th competitive season and their second season back in the Premier League, just one season after their relegation in 2014–15. Along with the Championship, the club will also compete in the FA Cup and Football League Cup.
