Dera Ismail Khan, abbreviated as D.I. Khan, is a city and capital of Dera Ismail Khan District, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Dera Ismail Khan is situated on the west bank of the Indus River, at its junction with the Gomal River.
